The U.S. Department of Defense has announced a new $250 million military aid package for Ukraine. This marks the 66th tranche of equipment that Ukraine has received under the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) since August 2021.

The new military aid package aims to meet Ukraine's critical security and defense needs. It includes the following components:

  • RIM-7 missiles and support for air defense systems
  • Stinger missiles
  • Ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS)
  • 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells
  • TOW anti-tank missile systems
  • Javelin and AT-4 systems
  • Bradley infantry fighting vehicles
  • M113 armored personnel carriers
  • Mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAPs)
  • Small arms and grenades
  • Patrol boats
  • Equipment for maritime training
  • Explosives and munitions
  • Spare parts, support equipment, services, training, and transportation

The U.S. will continue to collaborate with more than 50 allies and partners through the Ukraine Defense Contact Group to meet urgent battlefield needs and defend against Russian aggression.
