Ukraine Does Not Plan to Restrict Electricity Consumption Tomorrow
Tomorrow, on October 12, no measures to limit electricity consumption are planned. This is reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo".
According to the message, please use powerful electrical appliances during the daytime - from 10:00 to 16:00.
Today, October 11, no measures to limit electricity consumption are planned either.
The Ministry of Energy has refuted the United Nations' forecast regarding the duration of power outages in Ukraine during the winter. They deny that the duration of outages could range from 4 to 18 hours per day.
Government officials state that there will be no problems with power supply in Ukraine until the end of October and in November. They also express hope that this winter will pass with almost no outages, as last year.
NAEC "Energoatom" has brought another power unit of one of the nuclear power plants out of scheduled preventive maintenance earlier than planned. All nine power units in the territory under Ukraine's control are ready to operate in the autumn-winter period.
The European Commission is working on increasing the maximum volume of electricity supply to Ukraine. The G7 countries and other partners have raised over $4 billion for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
