The Ukrainian singer Lama, whose real name is Nataliya Dzenkiv, reached out to her fans with a bright story about her relationship. She shared the special moment when her beloved – financial analyst Roman – proposed to her, and noted the reason why she is not rushing to marry him.

This couple has been together for eight years. A year after the start of their romance, Roman proposed to her. Nataliya did not disclose where exactly this took place, but she mentioned that Roman organized a romantic dinner and decorated the room with flowers. She accepted his proposal, but the wedding did not happen.

'He covered a lot of flowers around the room when I entered - I found myself in a sea of roses. There were candles, and he was on his knees with a ring, proposing to me. Then I said: 'Roma, let's do this again so I understand everything,' recalled the singer a funny situation.

For six years, Nataliya and Roman have been in a state of engagement. However, they do not pay attention to the formality of marriage. They know that their important moment happened when Roman proposed, and they do not need any other formalities. For Nataliya, changes in the passport do not matter as much as for other people.

'After that, it's uninteresting. This is the most important thing, that the man wants to make this proposal,' said Lama.

In addition, the singer shared that currently, they are not planning to have children. She is not ready to devote herself entirely to raising children since she is focused on her creativity.

'Writing songs is my calling, just like being a mother. To become a mother, one needs to give up part of oneself in a certain understanding,' added Lama.
