Two football players made their debut for the Ukrainian national team at the tournament in Canada.
In June, during the matches for the Canadian Shield, the Ukrainian national team presented new players. In the game against Canada (2:4), Mykola Mykhailyenko made his debut, and Oleksandr Martyniuk also played for the first time against New Zealand (2:1).
Under the leadership of Serhii Rebrov, a total of 13 players have already debuted for the Ukrainian national team. In the previous match against New Zealand, the team achieved a victory with a score of 2:1, with goals scored by Oleksii Hutsuliak and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
