According to Deputy Minister of Education Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, basic general military training will be introduced in Ukrainian universities from 2025. The program will start for students in their third year. Currently, instructors are being prepared and the necessary training grounds are being set up.
"A person who graduates from higher education should know how to handle weapons," Vynnytskyi emphasized.
The Deputy Minister also stressed that this new program is not related to mobilization. The issue regarding military departments will be considered next year. The implementation of basic general military training is included in the budget for 2025.
Let us remind you that Ukrainians will be able to receive vouchers for education.
