Armenia is no longer welcoming to Russians.
The situation in Karabakh is only getting worse, but Armenians are taking an increasingly clear stance towards Russians. Even the Armenian Foreign Minister suggested that Russian peacekeepers leave Karabakh, and also emphasized that, in general, Russians are not very welcome in the country.

As for the peacekeepers, who also have considerable influence on the country's life and tourists, he suggested replacing them with French and American troops under the auspices of the UN.
Regarding tourism, especially tourists from Russia, there will be no drastic changes. However, Russians are better off not testing the patience of the locals.
Currently, Armenia is not the safest country for tourism, especially in the fall of 2023.
