The global computer chip manufacturing industry is stopping shipments to Russia due to US sanctions.
Representatives of the largest chip manufacturers stated that they comply with the new rules in response to the events in Ukraine.
Intel confirmed that they comply with all applicable export rules and sanctions.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has stopped sales to Russia and third parties. This is particularly damaging since the company is the largest manufacturer of chips, including the most advanced ones.
The Taiwanese company no longer manufactures or supplies semiconductors under the "Elbrus" brand, which were developed in Russia.
The American chip manufacturer Global Foundries has also started complying with the rules and has a review and blocking system for prohibited sales to Russia.
