Wolverhampton sacked head coach Vitor Pereira after a 0-3 defeat.
Vitor Pereira's dismissal as Wolverhampton manager
According to The Sun: Wolverhampton decided to terminate the contract with manager Vitor Pereira after a 3-0 loss to Fulham, extending their winless streak at the start of the season. Pereira joined the team last December and recently, in September, signed a new three-year deal.
However, Wolverhampton has already suffered a series of disappointing defeats this season, remaining at the bottom of the table. The team has lost eight matches, which prompted changes in the club's management.
“They say in sports it's important to make timely decisions, and our management believes this step is necessary,” said the club representatives.
Now the team hopes to find a new coach who can dramatically change the situation and bring Wolverhampton back to the path of victories.
This is not the first time the club has had to make decisions about the coaching staff in an attempt to rectify the situation. Wolverhampton, aiming to reach the higher positions in the table, is eager to quickly find a candidate capable of changing the course of the season.
