Authorities Announced Forced Evacuation of Children from Three Communities in Kupiansk District.
In three communities of the Kupiansk district in the Kharkiv region, a decision was made to evacuate 269 children. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Syniehubov.
«Today, at the Regional Defense Council, a decision was made to evacuate 269 children from 29 settlements in the Kupiansk district», - the message reads.
It is noted that this concerns the following territorial communities:
- Kupiansk territorial community – 10 settlements, 158 children.
- Kurylivka territorial community – six settlements, 41 children.
- Kindrashivka territorial community – 13 settlements, 70 children.
The regional military administration promises that all evacuees will receive assistance from international partners, particularly the UN, in the form of material, humanitarian, psychological, and legal support.
Additionally, all those in need will receive temporary accommodation or assistance with evacuation to other regions of Ukraine.
Recall that on September 9, mandatory evacuation was introduced in the Sumy region from Hlukhiv, Svesa, and Esman in the Shostka district. This was reported by the press service of the Sumy Regional Military Administration. Earlier, in the Sumy region, 183 settlements were identified as those whose residents are subject to evacuation. Staying in these areas is now dangerous as the enemy continues to intensely shell Sumy, using various types of weapons, including KABs, causing suffering to the civilian population of these communities.
Due to the worsening security situation, mandatory evacuation of children has also been announced in 32 more settlements in the Donetsk region.
