Locations of Trump's Golf Resorts in the UK

In 2014, Trump acquired 'Trump Turnberry' for 44.2 million pounds ($60 million) from Leisurecorp.

The Ailsa golf course located in Turnberry is among the top twenty courses in the world and has hosted four memorable Open Championships.

In 2017, the Kintyre course was replaced by 'King Robert the Bruce', which is a par-72 course measuring 7203 yards.

Trump's company invested about 150 million pounds ($200 million) in renovating Turnberry after the purchase.

At the same time, his golf stadium in Aberdeen is even more impressive: it is deemed the 'best 36 holes in golf', with the Nexo Championship held there this year.

The President of the United States purchased 1400 acres of land in 2006 and promised to create a golf resort worth 1 billion pounds featuring two world-class 18-hole courses.

Trump International, Scotland, offers stunning views of the North Sea and recently opened a new 18-hole course, which Trump himself presented during his visit to Scotland at the end of July.

This new course, worth about 150 million pounds, was named after the birth name of Trump’s deceased mother, Mary Ann, who was born in Scotland.

Donald Trump's Visit to the UK

The President of the United States and his wife Melania Trump are spending three days in the UK and plan to stay during Donald's second official visit to the UK with King Charles III at Windsor Castle.

They arrived on the evening of September 16 and will stay until September 18.

This visit comes two months after the 79-year-old President's four-day stay in Scotland, where he met with politicians and visited his golf resorts and opened a new world-class course at Trump International, Scotland.

Thus, Trump's visit to the UK is marked not only by meetings with high-ranking officials but also by emphasizing his business interests in the golf industry. As these resorts actively attract tourists, their popularity may have significant impacts on the region's economy.

Furthermore, the opening of new courses reflects Trump's intention to continue investing in international golf projects and to solidify his status as an influential businessman in this field.
