Davina has been in a relationship with Michael Douglas for several years, officially becoming a couple in 2019, although they have known each other for quite a while.

Who is Michael Douglas?

Michael Douglas was born on May 10, 1974, and is a well-known hairdresser from Leyland, located in North West England, in Lancashire.

Initially, he dreamed of becoming a motorcycle mechanic, but ultimately chose the art of hairdressing while remaining a big motorcycle enthusiast.

Michael has been working in the London beauty industry since he was 21, starting his journey at Wella.

In seven years, he earned the title of an expert in the field.

His career has included numerous celebrities, including Johnny Depp, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and others.

The attractive hairdresser has also appeared on television, including on The One Show.

In November 2024, the popular host informed fans that she needed to undergo brain surgery, and her beloved Michael Douglas was by her side.

How did Davina and Michael meet?

Davina's show 'Stranded on Honeymoon Island' focuses on fleeting relationships. Participants get to know each other for only five minutes, after which they get married and head off on a honeymoon.

These six newly formed couples must adapt on six remote tropical beaches, with no option of escape if things get complicated.

However, the romance between Michael and Davina developed gradually...

Michael started cutting Davina's hair early in her career on the show Big Brother. He was her hairdresser and 'therapist' for 20 years before they became a couple in the summer of 2019, initially remaining good friends.

Discussing returning to relationships at a more mature age and her show 'My Mum, Your Dad', Davina told The Sun in 2023:

“I love that the show reminds society that intimacy and sex don't end at forty, fifty, or sixty. It can be even the sexiest period of your life when the kids have grown up and left the nest, and you can have it again!”

Past experience in relationships

Both Michael and Davina were previously married and have children from previous relationships.

Davina divorced her husband Matthew Robertson in 2017 and was also married to Andrew Leggett from 1997 to 1999.

According to The Sun, even before their relationship became public, Davina had met Michael's children.

The couple were good friends before they became a couple.

Tumor in Davina

In November 2024, the host shared with fans the news about the need for brain surgery, and her boyfriend was there when she was recovering from the procedure.

In an emotional video, Michael supported her during this health struggle. Davina recounted:

“A few months ago I had a conversation about menopause for a company, and they offered me a medical examination that I thought I would pass easily. So I buried my head in the sand a bit.”

It turned out she has a rare benign brain tumor — a colloid cyst.

Davina also stated:

“It’s 14 mm in diameter, and it needs to be removed because if it grows, it will be bad.”

She added that the surgery will take place through a craniotomy, explaining:

“They go in through the top of my head and find the cyst, then it will be removed.”

The host shared that she is staying positive but at the same time asked fans for support:

“So pray for me.”

Davina exemplifies courage and confidence despite the situation she is facing. Her story is an important reminder of the significance of support during such challenging times. And her new show may provide yet another opportunity for viewers to see how love and empathy can help in life, as even in difficult circumstances it is important to remember the collective support.
