RADIOHEAD Fans Unhappy with Ticket Sales for Tour

According to The Sun: Fans of the band RADIOHEAD are disappointed, as the tickets for the band's return were sold out, which many described as the 'worst ticket buying experience'.

This beloved rock band announced their return after a seven-year absence, planning to tour in five cities.

Tickets Selling Fast

The tour involves four nights in Berlin, Bologna, Copenhagen, and confirmed in Madrid.

Fans are expressing their outrage online, struggling with difficulties in purchasing tickets.

Registration for ticket access opened on September 5 and lasted until September 7.

Each fan was expected to be allowed to buy a maximum of four tickets for one specific concert.

The desired tickets became available on September 12 on a 'first come, first served' basis using an access code.

However, even with the access code, there was no guarantee that a ticket would be available.

One fan wrote on X: 'Radiohead tried to make the ticket buying process fair, but it’s time to return to camping outside music stores.'
Another agreed: 'Radiohead tickets are impossible. Efforts to prevent speculation have failed.'
A third noted: 'No surprises' and no Radiohead ticket. The worst ticket buying experience of my life.'
The fourth added: 'I am extremely disappointed with today's Radiohead ticket sales. I was already in line at 10:30, but when I finally gained access at 11:07, everything was already sold out.'

Band's Return

This will be the first time the band has performed together since 2018, when they finished the Moon Shaped Pool tour in the US.

The last European tour was canceled when Jonny Greenwood was hospitalized due to a serious illness.

A representative for the star said at the time: 'A few days ago, Jonny became seriously ill from an infection that required urgent treatment in the hospital, part of which was in intensive care.'

As seen from many comments on social networks, many remarked that the ticket buying process proved too problematic. Since the band has not toured in several years, this tour has become a unique event that thousands of fans are eager to attend. Likely, this is due to the significance of the moment and the desire to see their favorite band live, which further complicates the ticket situation.
