EPAApproval for travel to the UK
On Friday, the court in Western Australia granted him permission to return home during the holidays. The 30-year-old rapper is on bail and awaiting his trial regarding allegations of choking, rape, and bodily harm during his tour in Australia last year.
He was extradited from Brisbane to Perth just 11 days after the allegations that reportedly occurred in a hotel room in Perth.
Yung Filly has pleaded not guilty to the charges of rape, choking, and assaults, although he has not yet responded to two further charges of rape. The court has scheduled him for a hearing at the Perth District Court in July 2026.
“Judge Gary Messi approved his request, meaning that the defendant can leave Perth on Tuesday.”
Bail conditions
Despite the opportunity to return home during the holidays, the conditions of his bail remain strict. Yung Filly must post a bail of £50,000 (approximately $100,000 AUD) with the court and additionally submit to another obligation of £50,000.
He must remain in Kent County during his stay in the UK and activate location services on his electronic devices. He is also prohibited from discussing his charges on social media.
New bail conditions were implemented after Yung Filly was previously subjected to a travel ban from Australia and was required to regularly report to the police in Perth.
Following the charges, Yung Filly lost several collaborations with brands and companies. The Football Association (FA) has canceled an online cooking show with the rapper.
Yung Filly could return to the UK as early as next Wednesday.
