The Ukrainian floorball team has started preparations for the World Championship: results in Italy.

According to inkorr.com: On November 8-9, the Ukrainian men's floorball team participated in the international tournament EuroPower 2025 held in Latisana, Italy. This was reported by 'Hlavkom', referring to the Sports Committee of Ukraine.

Importance of the tournament

The tournament was a significant stage in the preparation of the Ukrainian team for the qualification for the World Championship, which will take place in Finland in December 2026.

At the European Youth Olympic Festival, Ukraine won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, finishing 10th in the overall medal standings. This was the team's most successful performance at this event in recent years, after 2019, when Ukrainian athletes won 25 medals.
