Currently, 512 agricultural enterprises are operating in the Donetsk region, of which 353, or 69%, were affected by the full-scale Russian war.
This was reported by the deputy director of the department of the agro-industrial complex and land resources of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Olena Rybakova, during an online briefing.
"At the beginning of 2022, 1220 enterprises were operating in agriculture in the Donetsk region, and now 512 enterprises are operating in the region. Of these 512 enterprises, 353 have suffered losses and destructions, including farmyards, fields, and equipment," Rybakova said.
According to Rybakova, the total amount of losses at these enterprises now exceeds 5 billion UAH, "and this is only what can be calculated now".
