Zelensky shows how 'Orthodox' Putin destroys Ukrainian churches.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the mass destruction of religious objects as a result of Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory.
In his post on social media, Zelensky noted that over 500 churches, prayer houses, and other religious buildings were destroyed as a result of Russian aggression. The president emphasized that believers of all confessions in Ukraine suffered from these destructions.
Zelensky expressed gratitude for the support of Ukraine and its people in such difficult times. He stressed that Russia intends to completely destroy Ukrainian life.
The president called on the international community to decisively condemn Russia's actions, which use even churches as targets for bombs and rockets. 'Those who use churches as targets for bombs and rockets deserve condemnation from the entire world. The Russian state has become the biggest terrorist in the modern world,' Zelensky wrote.
