Ukrainian investigators are interrogating North Korean soldiers who are in captivity.

This was reported by Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on social media on January 14.

According to the head of state, Ukraine is investigating all the facts and checking the details regarding the involvement of North Korean military in combat operations on Ukrainian territory.

Zelensky emphasized that the international community is learning the whole truth about how Russia uses these soldiers, who have been raised in complete informational isolation and know nothing about Ukraine.

'Russia uses such guys exclusively to continue and expand this war. Only Russia needs this war,' the President of Ukraine noted.

The head of state also expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian military who defend positions, and to international partners for their assistance in saving lives and maintaining Ukraine's independence.

Let us remind you that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the involvement of North Korean military in combat actions alongside the Russian army, noting that the Russians are trying to silence the losses of North Koreans.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian military managed to capture North Korean soldiers for the first Time, with two of them surviving despite injuries and being brought to Kyiv.

Earlier, it was reported that South Korean intelligence confirmed the death of one of the North Korean servicemen who was previously captured by Ukrainian troops.

Ukraine also called for maximum pressure on Moscow and Pyongyang following the capture of North Korean military personnel.
