Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden on September 26, 2024. During the meeting, the Ukrainian leader presented the Victory Plan to his American counterpart.

"During the meeting with President Biden, I presented him the Victory Plan. We discussed details to strengthen the Plan, coordinated our positions, views, and approaches. We instructed our teams to hold consultations on the next steps," Zelensky reported on his Telegram channel.

The President of Ukraine emphasized the importance of a shared position between the two countries: "We deeply value that Ukraine and America stood shoulder to shoulder from the first moments of the Russian invasion. Your determination is incredibly important for our victory".

According to the White House, Biden and Zelensky plan another meeting on October 12 in Germany to continue discussions on the Ukrainian "Victory Plan".

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, also reported on Zelensky's meeting with a bipartisan delegation of the U.S. House of Representatives. "The main provisions of the Victory Plan, which should strengthen us on the path to peace, were outlined. Special attention was paid to the situation on the front lines, the protection of the energy infrastructure, and the preparation of the country for the winter period," said Yermak.

On the eve of his meeting with Biden, Zelensky held talks with the G7+ on the restoration of Ukraine, which was attended by more than 30 countries. The President of Ukraine emphasized the importance of this format for restoring normal life in the country.

Zelensky also emphasized the importance of a new support package from the USA amounting to 7.9 billion dollars, calling it "tremendous assistance".
