Zelensky on the shelling of Kharkiv: Targets for Russian bombs – residential building, bakery, and stadium.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the Russian strike on Kharkiv that occurred on September 24, 2024. The attack targeted civilian infrastructure objects such as a residential building, a bakery, and a stadium.
"Russia is a terrorist and confirms this every day with its own actions, its choice to wage war and try to expand the war," Zelensky emphasized.
According to the latest data, three people died and 24 were injured as a result of the attack. The greatest destruction occurred in the Kyiv district of the city, where the residential building, which was recently repaired, received a repeated hit. Floors from the eighth to the third collapsed.
The President expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and thanked the rescuers who continue the search and rescue operation. He also drew attention to the current session of the UN General Assembly, where global security issues are being discussed, and called to stop the terror and ensure the future.
