Zelensky held a meeting with the military command and government
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held an extended meeting with the military command and government on strengthening the country's defense capabilities. The event was attended by representatives of the military command, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, as well as government officials led by the Prime Minister.
During the meeting, they discussed the strategy of actions at the front and issues of the development of Ukraine's defense industry. According to the President, the future of the state depends on the clarity of set goals and the scaling of the defense industry.
Attention to the diplomatic front
Special attention was paid to the diplomatic front. Together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the head of state discussed the candidacies of new ambassadors of Ukraine and the results of the diplomatic corps' work.
Zelensky on North Korean military in Russia
Zelensky also commented on the presence of North Korean military in Russia, calling it a step towards expanding the war and a true escalation. "With the first battles involving North Korean soldiers, a new page of instability in the world opens," stressed the President.
