Zelensky shared Ukraine's diplomatic efforts during the war
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily address on October 18, 2024, spoke about the state's successes during the war, in particular about active diplomatic work. He mentioned communication with US President Joe Biden and preparation for meetings with the American delegation in Ukraine. The President also noted the work of Ukrainian officials abroad, who are working with their colleagues in Europe.
Zelensky emphasized the importance of the second Peace Summit and the need to end the war to ensure the safety of Ukrainians and the whole country. He also mentioned the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the situation at the front, including the Kursk operation and the defense of Ukrainian positions.
The President highlighted the role of Ukrzaliznytsia in the country's development and the positive results reported by Deputy Prime Minister Fedorov. He also thanked Ukrainian law enforcement officers for their work, particularly for the elimination of drug laboratories that brought significant income to criminals.
