Zelensky: Ukraine successfully tested a new ballistic missile.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at the second International Defence Industry Forum in Kyiv, where he talked about significant achievements of the Ukrainian defence industry.

According to the head of state, Ukraine has managed to build a virtually new defence industry under conditions of full-scale war. Zelensky presented impressive figures: in the first half of 2024, Ukraine produced 25 times more ammunition for artillery and mortars than in all of 2022.

The President also reported on successful flight tests of a new Ukrainian ballistic missile. In addition, he mentioned the production of long-range drone missiles "Palyanytsia", marine drones, and artillery systems "Bohdan".

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine aims to become one of the key global security donors and a strong player in the global arms market. He thanked the defence industry workers and international partners for their contribution to strengthening the country's defense capabilities.

Representatives from dozens of countries and hundreds of defense companies from different parts of the world were present at the forum. The event includes the signing of new agreements on cooperation and localization of production in Ukraine.
