Zelensky dismissed Prosecutor General Kostin.
President Volodymyr Zelensky officially dismissed Andriy Kostin from the position of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to Khvylya, the relevant decree No.745 is published on the president's website.
"Dismiss Kostin Andriy Yevhenovych from the position of Prosecutor General," the document states.
It should be noted that Zelensky submitted a proposal to the Verkhovna Rada to dismiss Andriy Kostin on October 28.
At the same Time, Kostin stated that he was resigning after the NSDC meeting on October 22. This was preceded by a series of revelations about prosecutors receiving unjustified benefits and disabilities.

In 2019, Andriy Kostin was elected a member of parliament from the "Servant of the People" party under number 108 in the list as an independent. He was the deputy head and later the head of the Committee on Legal Policy.
Kostin also headed the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine from the end of July 2022.
