According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian national women's basketball team is fighting its way to EuroBasket 2027. Currently, the girls are in Montenegro, where, under the guidance of Yevgeni Murzin, they are actively preparing for their first qualifying match.
Our basketball players are in Group E along with the teams from Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan. The first qualifying match between Ukraine and Montenegro will take place on November 12. After that, the team will play two home games on November 15 and 18 in Latvia. All matches will be broadcasted on Kyivstar TV.
The report also states that if the team performs successfully in the qualification, they will have the opportunity to play in March 2026. This is an important stage on the path to new achievements. It's also worth mentioning the successes of the men's team, which reached the main round of the World Cup 2027 qualifiers after overcoming the pre-qualification.
The women's team will face serious challenges in their group, as the competition promises to be fierce. However, with the support of fans and the efforts of the team, hopes for success look quite realistic.
