Ukrainian Intelligence Confirms Destruction of Su-34 and Ammunition Depot During Explosion in Russia
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed that during explosions at the Morozovsk airfield in Russia, a Su-34 and an ammunition depot were destroyed. According to satellite intelligence data, a Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed as a result of fire damage to the airfield. Two more Russian aircraft of the same type were likely damaged by fragments. An aviation weapons depot was also completely destroyed. Ukrainian intelligence recorded noticeable from space damage to four technical buildings and two hangars at the Morozovsk airbase, located 265 km from the front line.
On the night of August 3-4, Ukrainian drones attacked the Morozovsk airfield and the Gubkinskaya oil depot in Russia. As a result of hitting the depots in the state of emergency declared area of the airfield, a series of explosions occurred, and the oil depot ignited. The attack on the Morozovsk airfield was confirmed by the General Staff, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, and the Defense Forces.
