Due to the Russian forces' advance on Kupiansk, Ukrainian authorities evacuated civilians from this city and adjacent areas.
In Luhansk Oblast, Russian forces also continued attacks along the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line. Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops conducted counterattacks on various directions near Kupiansk and Svatove.
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces advanced southeast of Siversk in the area of Bilohorivka, but did not achieve success. Ukrainian forces, in turn, reclaimed some positions in Toretsk and Pokrovsk.
