Marja West, a cold case investigator, has made it her mission to solve the mystery, uncovering new facts that challenge existing theories. She believes she has a bombshell theory about a "predatory" man involved in Willeke's disappearance.

Both of Willeke’s parents died in a car crash when she was just a year old. She was passed between relatives, foster parents, and shelters in the Netherlands, leading to her living on a farm with the Mulders at the time of her disappearance in 1992.

Marja is convinced that the suspicion on the Mulder family was baseless and believes Willeke may have fallen victim to a different character, a man known as Sebastian. She has interviewed hundreds of people and gathered evidence to support her theory about Sebastian's involvement.
