The court dissolved the marriage of Andriy Pyatov
In the Kyiv District Court of the Pechersk District, a case regarding the divorce of former Ukrainian national football player Andriy Pyatov and his wife Yulia was considered. According to the court register, the marriage was dissolved.
Yulia Pyatova was the one who applied for divorce, having filed a lawsuit at the beginning of last year. In her lawsuit, she stated that the couple did not maintain a relationship, did not live together, and had no mutual rights and obligations. She also declared that she had no intention of restoring the marriage.
Neither the wife nor Andriy Pyatov himself appeared in court. Andriy submitted a statement acknowledging the claim and the consideration of the case in his absence.
According to the Constitution, marriage is based on the voluntary consent of a man and a woman. The parties do not live together, do not maintain marital relations, and have lost feelings of respect and love for each other - this is stated in the court's decision.
The court also ruled that the husband and wife did not reconcile. Considering these circumstances, the court decided to dissolve the marriage, as the continuation of their joint life would be dangerous for both parties.
Andriy and Yulia Pyatov should remember that their marriage lasted 19 years, and they have four children.
