Google Maps integrates phone navigation with the chatbot Gemini
Users of Google Maps will soon be able to communicate with the AI assistant and ask questions about locations directly from the app. This new option will allow for contextual conversations with the AI and provide detailed answers about service points, cultural monuments, and other objects.
Gemini, the built-in assistant, will offer personalized recommendations, taking into account user preferences, feedback from others, and the operating hours of locations. This will significantly facilitate trip planning and adapt travel goals to the needs of each user.
Google generally conducts testing before officially launching new features. While the specific release date is not yet known, the company is expected to make the update available soon in select markets. The Time is approaching when Google Maps navigation will be enhanced by artificial intelligence.
