How to Test Your Hearing with AirPods Pro 2.
Apple has introduced updated features for the AirPods Pro 2 that will allow them to conduct hearing tests and be used as hearing aids in 13 new countries, including Ukraine. This information was released by the MacRumors portal.
Now, AirPods Pro 2 can conduct hearing tests and perform hearing aid functions in several countries, including Ukraine. Apple announced the expansion of support for these features for iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1.
Where Hearing Tests and Hearing Aid Mode Are Now Available
Starting July 15, the Hearing Test feature in AirPods Pro 2 became available in 13 new countries, including Argentina, Israel, Thailand, Ukraine, and others. After connecting the headphones to an iPhone or iPad running iOS / iPadOS 18.1, the user can take a test in four different parts and receive results regarding their hearing level.
If hearing loss is detected, the user can enable the Hearing Aid mode, which will amplify the appropriate frequencies for better hearing. Additionally, the Media Assist option will automatically adjust the sound for music, videos, and calls.
It is also worth noting that the company is preparing to release new headphones - AirPods Pro 3, which are expected to hit the market soon.
