The Ministry of Development has launched an online cabinet for international carriers
The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development has started using an online cabinet for international routes. This digital tool allows to open, extend, or make changes to routes without paperwork and unnecessary waiting. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Development, Oleksiy Kuleba.
“Over the three years of full-scale war, the passenger traffic by buses abroad has increased more than seven times. Bus communication today is one of the key means for the mobility of citizens. That is why the carrier's online cabinet is a digital solution that not only saves Time and resources for carriers but also minimizes corruption risks,” he noted.
The Minister emphasized that today carriers already have access to the 'Extend Route' function. This applies to passenger carriers whose Ukrainian permit is about to expire and who need to extend their route to continue their operations.
“For this, you need to log in to the portal using a qualified electronic signature, select the appropriate option, enter the necessary information, and wait for a decision. A positive decision will come to you in this cabinet within 10 days. If clarification of data is needed, the carrier will receive a corresponding message in the system and 5 days to correct the errors,” explained the head of the Ministry of Development.
It is noted that this month, other functional capabilities will become available to carriers, including the ability to open a new route or make changes to existing ones.
It is worth noting that the passenger traffic across the state border of Ukraine has significantly increased during the pre-Christmas period. In one day, more than 150,000 people crossed the border, which is one of the highest indicators in recent years.
For your information, in 2024, the cost of travel on the capital's metro was 36.90 hryvnias for one passenger.
