Electricity restrictions across Ukraine on November 17: reasons and scales.
On November 17, Monday, restrictions on the supply of electricity will be introduced throughout almost all of Ukraine. According to the company "Ukrenergo", these restrictions will last all day, from 00:00 to 23:59.
Potential outages may affect from 1 to 4 phases, which is a larger number than last week. In addition, industrial consumers will also feel power limitations.
"The reason for the restriction decision is the consequences of large-scale missile and drone attacks on the energy infrastructure," the company noted.
In these conditions, it is extremely important to save electricity and use it carefully.
The problem of terrorist attacks on energy infrastructure
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claims that Vladimir Putin gives orders for attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure to destabilize Ukrainian society."
According to Zelensky's words, these attacks on the power system lead to the death of civilians and cause power and water supply outages.
Therefore, it is important to follow recommendations for preparing housing for potential restrictions and to have necessary supplies in case of power outages and other utility services.
In such a difficult situation, it is important to stay informed and prepared for possible difficulties. Saving electricity will not only help stabilize the energy system but also reduce the load on energy suppliers, which is critically important in these times. Citizens must remain calm and adhere to the recommendations of representatives from the energy sector.
