Oleina and Shchedry Dar: how oil prices differ at Auchan, Novus, Metro, and Megamarket.

Ukrainian stores continue to raise prices on refined sunflower oil. According to the Ministry of Finance, this applies to brands "Oleina" and "Shchedry Dar". Compared to January 2025, the price of this product varies in different stores.

The lowest price for "Oleina" oil is recorded at Auchan - 66.90 UAH for 850 ml. At Metro, it costs 74.50 UAH, at Novus - 74.89 UAH, and at Megamarket, it is the highest at 76.70 UAH. The average price for this oil currently stands at 73.25 UAH, which is higher than the January price of 68.17 UAH.

The trend regarding "Shchedry Dar" oil is similar. The lowest price for it can be found at Metro and Auchan - 74.50 UAH. Meanwhile, the price at Novus is 83.99 UAH, making it the most expensive among the presented stores. The average price currently stands at 79.23 UAH, while in January it was 74.26 UAH.

Thus, Auchan and Metro remain the most favorable options for purchasing oil, while Novus and Megamarket offer higher prices.

In addition, a study was conducted on where it is more cost-effective for Ukrainians to buy lemons in February.
