Thanks to the extraordinary feat of the pilots of the 'Azerbaijan Airlines' plane, which was damaged by Russian air defense near Grozny and crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan, 29 people survived. This was reported by open data analysis expert Julian Repke from the German publication Bild.

He reminded that the passenger plane was shot at by Russian military over Grozny, but after that it flew several hundred kilometers to Kazakhstan and made a hard landing, resulting in 38 deaths, but almost three dozen passengers survived.

Aviation expert Jakob Wirth emphasized that the flight trajectory and landing attempt indicate its significant uncontrollability. According to him, the plane was saved from complete destruction by the 'impressive achievement of the pilots who brought the heavily damaged plane over the Caspian Sea straight to Aktau.'

The expert noted that falling into the water would mean certain death for all passengers. Moreover, during the landing on land, it crashed forward, absorbing the main impact, while the rear part with passengers survived.

Julian Repke suggested that the Azerbaijani plane was sent all the way to Aktau due to the desire of the Russian authorities to conceal its attack from air defense systems.

As is known, yesterday, December 28, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin called the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and apologized for the plane crash over Aktau. This was reported by the Kremlin. It is noted that the phone call was initiated by the Russian side. However, Putin did not mention that a Russian missile might have hit the plane.

Putin and Aliyev 'discussed the plane crash in detail.'

Recall that the passenger plane Embraer, which was flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed at Aktau airport. There were 67 passengers and five crew members on board. Among them were 37 citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 Russians, six citizens of Kazakhstan, and three citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

Later, the head of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency Dmitry Yadrov commented for the first Time on the plane crash in Aktau. According to him, one of the main reasons for the air disaster was supposedly thick fog and lack of visibility at an altitude of 500 meters. 'The commander of the aircraft made two attempts to land in Grozny, both unsuccessful.'

Moreover, the head of the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation Andriy Kovalenko stated that the crash of the Embraer 190 plane in Kazakhstan was caused by the Russian anti-aircraft missile system (SAM). According to him, the plane was damaged as a result of actions by Russian military and was sent to Kazakhstan 'instead of making an emergency landing in Grozny and saving people's lives.'
