1.22 million Ukrainians received cashback: the average payout amount named.
The record amount paid out by the 'National Cashback' program to Ukrainians
During two days, November 21-22, 1.22 million Ukrainians received 119.2 million UAH in their accounts for purchases of Ukrainian-made goods in October.
The Ministry of Economy reports an increase in activity in the program. The number of participants has nearly doubled compared to the previous month - from 646,000 to 1.22 million people. The average payout amount rose from 57 to 97 UAH per person.
Cashback is available on 324,000 products from 1,586 Ukrainian manufacturers.
An interesting aspect of the program is its age statistics: 66% of cashback recipients are people under 45 years old, 23% are middle-aged, and over 10% are older than 60 years.
The most popular categories of purchases were bread, confectionery, dairy products, soft drinks, meat, cosmetics, and household goods.
However, out of 1.58 million potential users, over 350,000 have not yet activated their cards in the 'Diya' app, and therefore did not receive the money.
