The Netherlands will allocate 271 million euros for artillery shells for Ukraine

On October 17, 2024, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, announced the allocation of 271 million euros for large-caliber artillery shells for Ukraine.

He reported this in his post on social network X.

In his message, Schoof emphasized the joint commitment of Denmark, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands in supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

He reminded that a year ago these countries initiated the supply of ammunition and are now making the next important step.

"We will be supplying more large-caliber artillery ammunition. The Netherlands will allocate 271 million euros for artillery shells," said the Prime Minister.

Schoof also added that this decision will help ensure Ukraine is supplied with ammunition in 2025 and stimulate further expansion of the European defense industry.

Let us remind you that Norway is investing millions of dollars in the production of weapons for Ukraine.
