Cancellation of the pop music legend's tour

According to The Sun: The pop music legend of the 70s has been forced to cancel his latest tour and expressed his "genuine outrage" over this situation.

Issues with administrative matters and a lack of production logistics led the 77-year-old singer to make the decision to cancel the concerts scheduled for next month.

British singer and songwriter Cat Stevens released an emotional message to his fans after canceling plans for October as part of the "Cat on the Road to Findout Book Tour".

After converting to Islam, he changed his name to Yusuf and added a new autobiography to his musical repertoire, detailing his journey through victories, challenges, and endless quests of one of the most enigmatic figures in music.

However, due to visa issues, he will be unable to conduct the tour in the USA.

“Unfortunately, my tour 'Cat on the Road to Findout Book Tour' in the US does not seem to be going as planned in October. We have been waiting for visa approvals for months and have continued to hope until the last moment.”
“However, at this moment, the production logistics required for my show cannot be organized in time. I am truly upset! Especially for my fans who bought tickets and planned trips to see me perform.”
“North American audiences may still have the chance to see the tour if visa approvals eventually come through. However, these dates will be later due to other tour plans, but I hope fans will be able to be part of the Peace Train route in the future.”

However, the delays of the tour will not affect the release of the book, which can still be enjoyed... the obvious advantage is that books do not require visas!

Fans can pre-order this book despite the tour problems.

UNVEILING SECRETS

It has been previously reported that his new edition will focus on his encounters with death - and how they have changed him.

The first occurred during his teenage years when the streets and inviting rooftops of West London were his playground.

One night, during an adventure with his best friend Andy, he found himself at the edge of a great height near Prince Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.

A fall could have ended his life, however, when the “dark abyss” beckoned, Andy pulled his hand back at the last moment and saved him.

“This was the moment when I first faced death,” Yusuf said.

This began the spiritual quest that accompanies him to this day.

In 1969, he contracted a dangerous form of tuberculosis that required months of recovery. Then, in 1976, he nearly drowned while swimming on the coast of Malibu, California.

His deep, but melodic songs, such as 'Father And Son', 'Wild World', 'Moonshadow', and 'Peace Train', made him a global star and an object of adoration.

After the completion of the tour, Cat Stevens plans to actively work on his new project and writing the book. His fans hope for the return of the artist to the stage and believe this is just a temporary delay, not the end of his creative career. Currently, his music remains relevant, and interest in him has not faded, even despite the difficulties he faces today.
