800 million dollars for drones from the USA and the involvement of North Korea in the war on Russia's side: Zelensky's address.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced a new decision by the USA regarding support for Ukraine. The USA will allocate 400 million dollars for Ukraine's defense and another 800 million dollars for funding Ukrainian drones.

"Ukraine is grateful for this support. We need to be able to defend our sovereignty and independence regardless of political threats," said the president.

Zelensky also discussed with US Secretary of Defense Austin the implementation of Ukraine's Victory Plan and concrete steps for its realization. The president emphasized the necessity of partners' decisiveness, especially in light of information about North Korea's new role in supporting Russia.

"It's evident that Putin fears peace, and that's why he tries to increase aggression and involve North Korea on his side," Zelensky emphasized.

The president held meetings with military leadership to discuss the situation at the front, particularly in the Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Kurakhiv, and Kharkiv directions. Special attention was paid to the Kursk operation, which, according to Zelensky, has strategic importance and allows for the activation of the prisoner exchange process.

Zelensky also reported on preparations for the National Security and Defense Council meeting, where violations in the work of the Main Military Medical Commission will be discussed. "Systemic, staffing, and procedural measures will be taken," summarized the president.
