The group, which includes Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch, and Mikey Graham, gained fame in 1994 and has sold over 25 million records worldwide.
Plans for the Future
Discussing his recent documentary project, Ronan told Scott Mills:
“The reaction has been incredible. We talked about our history over the last 30 years, and it felt like this could be the end.”
“But in the last few weeks, we've been communicating, and I think 2026 could be the year for Boyzone to try and do something new.”
Ronan intrigued listeners by stating:
“Scott Mills, 2026 will be a great year for Boyzone.”
Without revealing details, the band's official Instagram account urged fans to subscribe for some news, adding: “The journey continues…”
Initially, the boy band consisted of five members, including the late Stephen Gately, who passed away in 2009.
Continuation of Career
After their last concert together, Keith performs songs in the male group Boyzlife alongside Westlife's Brian McFadden.
Last year, Ronan became involved in a new feud with former Boyzone manager Louis Walsh. During the Celebrity Big Brother show, Louis emotionally expressed his feelings about Ronan, saying:
“He was such a p***k. Everyone thinks he is a wonderful person.”
“He didn’t have a successful fit.”
Ronan later commented on Louis's words, stating:
“I expressed my opinion, I told my truth. There are moments that are painful and shocking, but everyone knows what was said back then. I mean, we all have been hurt by what we experienced in the 90s.”
Now Boyzone is back together, hoping for new achievements in the future.
