Information about the partner countries of Ukraine in the aviation coalition fulfilling their obligations regarding the supply of combat aircraft and training Ukrainian pilots was announced by the Air Forces.
Information from the representative of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuri Ignat indicates that instructors at training centers are teaching pilots on F-16 and Mirage 2000 aircraft.
'These processes are ongoing, they are not quick. The transition to F-16 takes more time than expected from pilots,' Ignat said.
Ignat also noted that Western partners are studying the combat experience of Ukrainian pilots on F-16.
'Recently, a pilot, after making one combat sortie, shot down six cruise missiles with only four missiles. The other two he destroyed with a cannon. Such cases have not occurred before. This is an absolute record. Therefore, our partners are learning from our experience that we already have, both on the ground and in the air,' Ignat explained.
