Dnipro 1918: Who Will Become the New Owner of the Football Club in the City.
In Dnipro, after the collapse of the legendary club 'Dnipro', a new football project has emerged - 'Dnipro 1918'. The city lost its team, but now there is hope for new sporting life.
Owner and Club Plans
Anton Mykhailovych Akhmetov, a former fan of 'Dnipro' and a Donetsk IT specialist, has become the owner of 'Dnipro 1918'. For now, the club is formally owned by Vitalii Paladich, but after Akhmetov returns from military service, he intends to take control of the team.
'For me, the most important thing is humanity. It is not money that makes the main impression, but the trace you leave behind'
The owner plans to preserve the historical heritage of 'Dnipro' in the club's name and logo, as well as create a large budget for the team's development. The goal is to restore the city's football traditions and build infrastructure for participation in the Ukrainian Premier League.
Akhmetov clearly stated that he has no connections with other well-known Ukrainian businessmen and does not plan to cooperate with them.
The new football club 'Dnipro 1918' was born in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, bringing with it a promise to return sporting glory, dedication, and development to local football. Owner Anton Mykhailovych Akhmetov plans to directly manage the team and make it one of the leading in the country. This is the beginning of a new football era for Dnipro and all of Ukraine.
