Bus traffic through 'Dyakivtsi - Rakovets'
From July 9 to September 30, 2025, any buses of various sizes and with any number of seats can cross the border with Romania through the checkpoint 'Dyakivtsi - Rakovets'. The decision is aimed at facilitating the organization of passenger transportation during the summer period.
'Until this Time, the movement of large buses through the checkpoint 'Dyakivtsi - Rakovets' was limited due to infrastructural features on the Romanian side,' - explained the State Customs Service. These changes will allow for more efficient use of crossing capabilities in this direction.
In the first days of operation of the checkpoint, nine large buses were processed, and about 600 passengers crossed the border. At the same time, prior registration in the eQueue system is mandatory for the departure of buses from Ukraine.
It is worth noting that on the morning of July 12, there were the largest queues at the border towards Poland. It is also known that some currencies may be confiscated at the border.
The checkpoint 'Dyakivtsi - Rakovets' has temporarily allowed all passenger buses to cross the border to reduce the load on other checkpoints and facilitate the organization of passenger transportation during the summer period due to increased demand.Read also
