Over 887 thousand euros raised in Lithuania to help Ukraine
In Lithuania, the solidarity campaign 'Radarom!' is underway, marking the third anniversary of the start of the Russian war against Ukraine. So far, participants in the campaign have donated 887,225 euros to this initiative, reports LTR.
Two-thirds of the raised funds are planned to be used to purchase drones and anti-drones manufactured in Lithuania. The remaining funds will be spent on acquiring Ukrainian equipment.
The campaign will continue until February 24. During the two previous campaigns, a total of 22.8 million euros was raised, and 17 radars, 69 anti-drones, 4 special vehicles for mobile radars, and 1141 sets of security equipment for military personnel were purchased.
ELTA reminds that the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.
