It will get colder in Ukraine for Christmas: forecasters gave their forecast.

According to ТСН: This weekend, December 20-21, the synoptic situation will remain largely unchanged: cloudy weather is expected with no significant precipitation, fogs are also possible.

Forecaster Natalia Didenko reported this, noting that December 21 marks the winter solstice - the shortest day of the year, after which the daylight will gradually increase.

Air temperature

In Ukraine, on December 20-21, the temperature will remain at around 0+4 degrees. In the west and south, it will be warmer: +3+7 degrees, and in Crimea, temperatures may rise to +9 degrees.

Weather in Kyiv

In Kyiv, no precipitation is expected during the weekend. The weather will be cool but moderate - +1+3 degrees.

Didenko also confirmed that for Christmas, starting from December 25, a cold snap is expected in Ukraine.

“How exactly, from where, and by how many degrees - will be clarified in further forecasts,”
