Usyk considers three opponents: Fury, Parker or Jake Paul – what the coach says.
Who Usyk will fight
Undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is choosing between three possible opponents: Joseph Parker, Tyson Fury, and Jake Paul. American coach Abel Sanchez shared his thoughts on Usyk's potential opponents.
Sanchez expressed his views on Usyk's upcoming fight in an interview with Fight Hub TV.
Sanchez noted that a third fight with Tyson would be a big event for both boxers and would bring in huge money. He believes that if Usyk wants to return to the ring, it should be for a significant reason, and Tyson Fury is just such a reason.
“A third fight with Tyson Fury is a big match for both. It’s big money. If Usyk decides to fight again, then it should be for a significant reason, and Fury is that reason,” said Sanchez.
The specialist also emphasized that Usyk has already secured his legacy by becoming the first-ever three-time undisputed champion in two weight classes, and he currently has no urgent need to prove anything. At this time, Sanchez recommends that Oleksandr take care of himself, his family, and his loved ones.
It is worth noting that in July 2018, Usyk defeated Murat Gassiev, who was trained by Sanchez.
It should be reminded that Snoop Dogg expressed his love for Oleksandr Usyk in a public conversation. At the same time, a new football club with significant investments is planned to be created in Dnipro, and Kyiv Dynamo forward Vladislav Vanat has the chance to move to a foreign club. Also, one of the players of the Ukrainian national team may continue his career in the Bundesliga.
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk is actively choosing a future opponent among such star boxers as Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker, and Jake Paul. His coach Abel Sanchez supports this initiative and advises the athlete to choose the right path. Currently, the boxer is inspired by the support and the opportunity to meet with his fans, which may have an impact on his sports journey. In today's sports world, it is important not only to achieve high results but also to remain true to values and not forget about one’s health and the importance of family relationships.
