According to SunSport, Forest is a potential destination for this Australian coach who has been the subject of intense interest from the Saudi club Al-Ahli this summer.
He said: 'I always had a very good relationship with the owner, last season we were very close and spoke on a daily basis. This season it is not so well [between us]. But I always believe that dialogue is important because my concern is the squad and the season we have ahead of us. Our relationship has changed and we are not as close.'

Meanwhile, the relationship between former coach Nuno Espirito Santo and club owner Evangelos Marinakis has significantly cooled, raising doubts about the coach's future at the club.'I’m being honest with you, I cannot say [our relationship] is the same, because it’s not. The reason behind it? I don’t know. But the reality is that it’s not what it used to be… it used to be a good, respectful relationship based on trust and sharing opinions, and now it’s not so good.'
