She fell victim to a scammer who had been renting out a villa without the knowledge or consent of its actual owners. The conflict forced her family to relocate unexpectedly, as they had originally planned to stay at the property until July 25.

After the issue came to light, Salivanchuk tracked down the legitimate owner of the villa. That owner apologized for her employee’s actions and stepped in to resolve the matter. She arranged for the Salivanchuk family to stay in two different houses and offered them six days of complimentary accommodation as compensation.

How the Actress Solved the Problem

“He just told us off and drove away. I thought, great, but you can’t treat me like that! I climbed over the fence of the house we were staying in. I knocked on the windows, but no one was there. I went inside without permission and saw a man. I was a bit scared of what I was doing. But then a woman came out and asked what I was doing there. I told her this was my territory until the 25th and explained the whole story. She was shocked, apologized for her employee’s actions, and helped us resolve everything.”
