Announcement of the Olympics on August 4. We support Maguchikh, Herashchenko, Kokhan, Chepurny and Radivilov.

On the ninth day of the 2024 Olympic Games, 15 Ukrainian athletes will participate in 7 sports: athletics, trap and rifle shooting, canoe slalom, artistic gymnastics, cycling, and boxing.

The women's high jump final is the main event of the day. Two Ukrainians, Yaroslava Maguchikh and Iryna Herashchenko, will compete for medals. Yaroslava Maguchikh is the favorite as she holds the world record and is in good form. However, she has competitors from Australia and other Ukrainian athletes who need to show their best season results.

In the hammer throw final, Mykhailo Kokhan will compete. He has good results, but to win, he needs to achieve a personal best, as his competitors are also vying for medals.

In artistic gymnastics, there will be a vault final featuring Nazar Chepurny and Ihor Radivilov. They have a chance to compete for medals against other athletes.

Oleksandr Khizhniak will enter the boxing ring in the heavyweight category. He will face the experienced Cuban Arlen Lopez Cardona, who is a tough opponent. However, if Khizhniak shows his skill, he has a chance to compete for a medal.

In the cycling road race, Yuliia Biriukova will compete. She can surprise with her performance, as she has experience with good results.

In the kayak cross, Viktoriia Us will compete for a place in the next rounds. She has reached the round of 16 and will attempt to advance to the main stages of the competition.

There will also be shooting and athletics qualifiers, in which Ukrainian athletes will participate.
