According to ТСН: The anticyclone will influence weather conditions in Ukraine in the coming days. On December 18, no precipitation is expected in most regions of the country. The exception will be Transcarpathia, where light rain is forecasted. In the Carpathians, rain with wet snow is expected. The wind will be predominantly western, moderate, and in some places – gusty.

This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko on Telegram.

She stated that nighttime temperatures will hover around zero degrees. During the day in the west of the country, thermometers will show +3 to +7 degrees, in the south – from +6 to +11 degrees, and in Crimea, the temperature could rise to +12 degrees.

In Kyiv, the weather will also pass without significant precipitation: during the day, about +5 degrees is expected, with a western-northwestern wind, moderate, with possible gusts.

Weather prospects

In the coming days, the temperature will remain virtually unchanged. However, forecasters warn of the possibility of a cold snap closer to Christmas, starting on December 26. Then daytime temperatures may drop to small negative values, while at night they could reach -5…-11 degrees.

Didenko emphasized that further forecasts beyond three days are tentative and require confirmation.

Therefore, when planning activities, it is advisable to consider possible changes in the weather situation. Meteorologists recommend closely monitoring updates on forecasts and adhering to safety measures during severe cold and weather fluctuations.
