According to The Sun: Manchester United star Antony is so eager to leave Old Trafford that he has moved out of his mansion and is now living in a hotel near the airport while waiting for a transfer to Real Betis for 36 million pounds.

The Brazilian winger has been informed by coach Ruben Amorim that his career at the club is over, despite a successful last season where he played for Betis on loan.

SunSport has learned that the Spaniards are actively negotiating a new loan deal worth 3 million pounds for Antony, considering it as a potentially permanent arrangement for 33 million next summer.

The 25-year-old footballer previously lived with his wife and family in a luxurious home in Hale, near Manchester, where Paul Pogba once lived.

Now he is living with his family at the Marriott Hotel, just five minutes from Manchester Airport, while his £200,000 Porsche remains parked.

A room in this four-star hotel costs only 130 pounds a night – a small amount for the Brazilian who earns 200,000 pounds a week.

Antony, who trains separately from Amorim's main team, regularly visits the hotel spa, according to feedback from other guests.

However, some visitors have criticized the hotel on TripAdvisor for its 'unappealing' condition and lack of cleanliness in the rooms during their 'unfortunate stay'.

“Antony clearly wants to leave Old Trafford and is doing everything to be ready for a call from another club. He could be on a plane within 30 minutes.”

After his previous stint at Betis, Antony is close to returning to the club, planning to finalize a deal worth a total of 36 million pounds.

He wants to rejoin the team on loan, and Betis intends to make this arrangement permanent in 2026.

Manchester United has consistently insisted on full obligation terms for any deal and previously rejected a loan request.

Antony moved to United in 2022 for 85 million pounds from Ajax but has only scored 12 goals in 96 appearances.

The player is eager to return to Manuel Pellegrini's team, where he already scored nine goals and provided five assists.

Antony dreams of being a key player for Brazil in the upcoming summer World Cup and hopes for new successes in Spain.

He will become the first member of United's 'New Bomb Squad' to be released before the end of the transfer period. Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia are still waiting for their transfers.

Antony is laying the groundwork for a new phase in his career, refocusing on a club where he can more effectively unlock his potential. The anticipation of a transfer to Real Betis underscores his intent to return to playing at a high level after a challenging time at Manchester United. It also opens up new opportunities for his further development, although many questions remain unanswered, particularly whether he can once again become an important figure in the Spanish team.
